Happy 5 months to Savannah!!

Well Savannah is 5 months old today...I cannot believe how fast time is going by! This past month has brought with it many "firsts" for Savannah. On Tuesday the 17th of April our little girl rolled over for the first time!!! We are so proud of her, and she is getting better at it every day. Pretty soon she will be rolling all over the house :) She also tried her first bites of oatmeal this month. She isn't quite sure if she likes it, but we keep trying it everyday. She went on her first plane ride to California and was so well behaved. She didn't even make a peep the whole plane ride there and was just a little fussy on the way home. Overall it was a great trip. We are keeping our fingers crossed for the same luck next week when we fly to Denver for my bother Travis' graduation from Grad school. He will be receiving his doctorate in Physical Therapy, and we are very proud of him! Last Sunday we took a family trip to the beach and Savannah got to experience the sand and ocean for the first time. It is so much fun to watch her take in these moments. It was a beautiful day and warm enough that she even got to dip her toes in the water :) We also have some new stats from her doctors appointment last week. She is 16lb 14oz (96%) and 25in long (75%). She is getting so big!

Some other exciting news is that Scott got a new job! He starts in 1 week. We are very excited for this new opportunity for our family. There is even the possibility of him being home much more! We hope you all have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the pics below!

April Update :)

Has it really been 2 months since the last post? Time has been flying by!! Where to begin...I guess I will start with Scott. He is still traveling to Spokane, WA Monday through Friday. It is hard having him gone so much and it is also hard on him being away, but we are making the best of it. I have had some big changes since the last post. With Scott being away so much it was becoming very stressful and tiresome working full time. After much thought, we decided that it would be best for our family if I applied for a casual position in my department. I was given the position and start the beginning of May. This will give me more flexibility with my schedule and more importantly more time to be home with Savannah :) This will be a welcomed change!
Now on to the update I'm sure everyone is wanting...Savannah is 4 months old now! The time has flown by and seems to be going faster with each passing day. She is such a good baby, full of laughter and smiles! She has not been weighed recently, but one month ago she was 14lbs. I would guess that she must be around 16lbs now :) She is making new sounds everyday and loves it when we copy her. She is very close to rolling over and we think it could be any day now. She has a new fascination with putting everything in her mouth and is drooling constantly so she may be close to getting her first tooth as well! Everyday is a new and exciting adventure as her parents. There is never enough hours in the day to spend with her. We are so blessed to have her in our lives!! Today we went to a family photo shoot and have some great photos to share below. We hope you enjoy them!

2 months old already!

Savannah is 2 months old today...We can't believe how big she is getting! She now has a "real" smile that she loves to share :) She also loves playing on her activity gym and has begun to develop her own little language of baby talk, which is a nice variation from her usual grunts :) Savannah has become quite the little traveler as we have gone to Spokane, WA twice now to visit Scott and she has done great! She is so much fun and it is amazing how much she is learning! Here are a few current pictures for everyone to enjoy!

Our first walk around the neighborhood. Savannah loved it :)

The stats are in...

Savannah had her 6 week well child check today and the stats are in...She weighs 11lb 5oz(!!!), and is 22in long. This places her in the 91% for weight and 75% for height. She is a very healthy girl :) She also received her 2 month shots...She was not happy at first but is re-cooperating. She is getting to be such a big girl! We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Years. Here are some pictures from the last few weeks for everyone to enjoy :)
